By integrating traditional library collections with extensive non-book and audio-visual materials, the Rang Abhilekh Institutional Repository strengthens research, learning, and documentation, and plays a crucial role in safeguarding and disseminating the legacy of theatre for students, scholars, and practitioners.

The production includes music by Ajay Kumar, lyrics by Dr. Mamta Dhawan, sound design by Santosh Kumar Singh, choreography by Moon Moon Singh, and script adaptation and costume design by Shweta Srivastava. The production was scheduled at Town Hall, Agartala, Tripura, on 6, 7 and 8 May at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with an additional show on 9 May at 6:30 p.m. UDNE DO A devised play, based on the Novel by Antoine de Saint Exupéry,’The Little Prince’. The adaptation resonates from a child’s perspective about a boy who wanted to be an artist, but was imposed with logic, numbers, profession and power, forgetting how to see the world with wonder. The Little Prince reminds us that true value cannot be measured or seen; it can only be felt through love and feeling of joy. Through a young voyager from Asteroid B-612, he traverses the space, to different planets, searching love, friendship, and kindness that can never be seen through eyes, and there he saw the eccentric ‘grown-ups’ getting too stressed about money, work, pride and power, as they have forgotten, how to dream and to appreciate the nature around! The play is truly an exploration of the human soul and the invisible threads that connect us to one another. It is based on the childhood stories of Lord Krishna from the tenth Skanda of the Bhagavata purana, This play is considered the first and only complete dramatic Bork of Madhavdev. The production credits Dr. Suwarn Rawat with script, design and direction. The production incorporates puppetry, dance, music and sound effects, costume, lighting, stage management and other theatrical elements. Performances were scheduled for 29, 30 and 31 August 2024 during morning and matinee shows at Sukanta Academy, Agartala, with an open show on 31 August 2024 at 6:30 PM. The production was presented for invited schools including Shishu Bihar H.S. School, Maharani Tulsibati Girls' H.S. School, and Maa Anandamayee Vidyapeeth School. Puppets of Time intertwines two central narratives highlighting ethical dilemmas, personal conflicts, and the themes of time and its impact on individuals. The first storyline unfolds at a press event for Kevin Carter, whose Pulitzer Prize-winning photo sparks intense debates about the ethics of his work. To juxtapose Kevin Carter’s controversy, another story unfolds regarding the Chipko Movement of the second half of the 20th century, and that narrative shows the side effects of deforestation and deteriorating human and animal life.
