Abstract
A practical scenework presentation developed by Design and Direction students of the National School of Drama. Conceived and designed by Madhu M under the guidance of Mr. Sanchayan Ghosh, the production demonstrates the creative use of theatrical space, visual composition, scenic elements, and design principles as part of professional theatre training.
Description
Design Scenework is an experimental theatre design presentation that focuses on the creation and interpretation of performance spaces through scenography and visual design. Rather than presenting a complete dramatic narrative, it investigates how scenic composition, spatial relationships, props, lighting, textures, and visual symbolism contribute to storytelling on stage. Conceived and designed by Madhu M under the guidance of Mr. Sanchayan Ghosh, the presentation serves as an academic exercise demonstrating the integration of artistic creativity with technical stagecraft, reflecting the practical training of Design and Direction students at the National School of Drama.
