Abstract
Hip Hop Demonstration is an educational dance presentation conducted under the guidance of Rajan Rathore, introducing students to the fundamentals of hip hop as a contemporary performance form. The demonstration explores essential techniques, rhythmic movement, body isolation, coordination, freestyle expression, and choreography, highlighting the role of hip hop in modern theatrical and dance practices. Through practical exercises and live demonstrations, participants develop physical agility, musicality, creativity, teamwork, and stage confidence. As part of theatre training at the National School of Drama, the session emphasizes movement as a powerful medium of artistic expression while encouraging innovation, discipline, and collaborative performance.
