Abstract

The Studio of the South is a Second Year Scenography Project that explores the relationship between visual art and theatrical space. The project encourages students to investigate the principles of scenography through artistic experimentation, spatial composition, colour, texture, perspective, and environmental design. Inspired by visual art traditions, it demonstrates how paintings, landscapes, architecture, and artistic movements can inform stage design and theatrical storytelling.
