Abstract
Sode is a Costume Design Presentation presented by Shardha as part of the National School of Drama's design training programme. The Japanese word "Sode" translates to "sleeve," suggesting an exploration of garment construction, textile aesthetics, and the expressive role of costume in theatrical performance. Guided by Kanchan Ujjal, the presentation examines costume as a visual language that communicates character, culture, movement, and dramatic identity through design elements such as fabric, colour, texture, and silhouette.

Shardha presented Sode as a costume design project at the National School of Drama.
