Abstract

Paper is a direction scenework adapted from Nandakumara's story Kaagada. The production examines the transformation of a literary narrative into a theatrical performance, focusing on human relationships, memory, identity, and emotional conflict. Developed as a practical directing exercise, the performance emphasizes script interpretation, actor training, stage movement, visual composition, and storytelling. It demonstrates how contemporary literature can be reimagined through theatrical language and performance techniques.
