Abstract
फफूंद (Fafund) is a theatrical adaptation of a story by Salaam Bin Razzak, a noted Hindi writer. The play explores the gradual decay of human relationships, emotional isolation, memory, and the psychological effects of neglect. The metaphor of "fungus" represents the silent accumulation of fear, resentment, and social deterioration that grows unnoticed until it consumes individuals and relationships. Adapted as a direction scenework, the production focuses on transforming literary fiction into a compelling stage performance through actor training, visual storytelling, and dramatic interpretation.
