Abstract

Arjun Bhanjan is an Ankia Bhaona production presented under the Guru-Shishya Parampara tradition by the National School of Drama, Theatre-in-Education Wing, Tripura. The production is written by Mahapurush Madhav Dev and directed by Bhoben Borbayan. The poster identifies Brajawali as the language and gives the duration as 1 hour 15 minutes. The production includes traditional performance roles such as Gayan, Bayen and Sutradhar, along with music, flute, makeup and other performance elements. The venue is Ananda Auditorium, Nazrul Kalakshetra, Agartala, Tripura. Arjuna Bhajan. also known as Dadhimathan, is an inportant written by Madhavdev. It is based on the childhood stories of Lord Krishna from the tenth Skanda of the Bhagavata purana, This play is considered the first and only complete dramatic Bork of Madhavdev. It is famous for its simple story, lively characters, meanirgful dialogues, ard deep spiritual message.

Description

Bhoben bayan was born on 14 April 1967 in Majuli. Assan. Shri Bhaben Borbayan has received training in Sattriya uruier Nandiram Borgayan, Tuniram Borgayan, Komal Ch, Borgayan, Maniram Borgayan, Paramanda Borgayan, and many others Shri Bhaben Borbayan, a well-known Sattriya dancer. has showcased his exceptiond skills not only in India but also in countries like France. Portugal, and Bhutan at prestigious festivals such as Festival Orientals ard Festival International De Folklore. He has participated in many festivals organized by Sangæt Natak Akademi, displaying his profound of dance. Recognized for his expertise.he has been invited as an expert by various government Organizations like the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) ard Sangeet Natak Akademi for Gayan Bayan workshop From 1991 to 1991. he served as a dance teacher at Pitambardev Mahavidyalay, Garamur. Majuli. and Tribeni Sangeet Vidyalaya. Kanalabari, Majuli.
