Abstract

Party is a contemporary play by Mahesh Elkunchwar set during a social gathering where polite conversations gradually uncover hidden tensions, hypocrisy, and class divisions. Through simple situations and sharp dialogue, the play exposes the emotional emptiness and moral conflicts of urban society.

Description

Shantanu Bose is a theatre director and educator associated with the National School of Drama, known for his work in actor training and contemporary interpretations of modern Indian plays, with emphasis on ensemble performance and text-based realism.
