Abstract
Zaroori Hai… (ज़रूरी है...) is a children's theatre production presented by the National School of Drama's Sanskar Rang Toli (Theatre-in-Education Company) during Kalrav 2026 – Sunday Club Theatre Festival. Staged for Sunday Club Part I – Group D, the production is designed for young audiences and uses educational theatre to encourage reflection on values, relationships, empathy, cooperation, and personal growth. The imagery of children reaching toward one another symbolizes inclusion, imagination, and shared learning through theatre.
Description
Meenakshi and Kingshuk Das served as the Group Leaders for Zaroori Hai… (ज़रूरी है...), presented by the National School of Drama's Sanskar Rang Toli – Theatre-in-Education Company. They guided the young participants of Sunday Club Part I – Group D through the creative process, encouraging collaborative learning, confidence, imagination, and self-expression through theatre. Their leadership reflects the Theatre-in-Education philosophy of using drama as a medium for education, creativity, and holistic development among children.
