Abstract
Ranbhedi is a children's theatre production presented by the Theatre-in-Education Company (TIE Co.) of the National School of Drama during the Sunday Club Theatre Festival – Kalrav 2026. The production was created for participants in the 11–14 years age group and appears to use a symbolic historical setting to explore themes of courage, teamwork, leadership, discipline, and responsibility. The poster depicts a young warrior surrounded by soldiers and elephants, suggesting inspiration from Indian historical and mythological traditions.
Description
The production was mounted as part of the Sunday Club Theatre Festival – Kalrav 2026, organized by the Theatre-in-Education Company (TIE Co.) of the National School of Drama. The project provided young theatre participants with practical training in acting, music, choreography, costume, stage management, lighting, makeup, and backstage production under the supervision of experienced theatre practitioners. Along with on-stage performance, students actively contributed to various technical and creative aspects of the production, reflecting the educational objectives of the TIE programme.
