Abstract
Peepal OR People (पीपल OR People) is a theatre production presented by the Theatre-in-Education Company of the National School of Drama during the Kalrav 2026 – Sunday Club Theatre Festival. The production was created for Part-1, Group B. It visually contrasts a large peepal tree with a modern city skyline while depicting two children walking together, suggesting themes of environmental awareness, coexistence between nature and urban development, sustainability, and the relationship between people and the natural world.
Description
The production was jointly led by Snigdha and Shubham as part of the National School of Drama's Theatre-in-Education (T.I.E.) programme. It was presented during Kalrav 2026, a theatre festival showcasing productions created and performed by young participants.
